    Gil and Monsters dropping it

    Somedays I log into the game and think "why is crafting, gathering and farming for mats dropped by monsters the only way to make gil?"

    I for one hate all of the above and one thing I loved in most mmos and in offline FF games is the fact that money dropped from monsters, the higher the mob level the higher amount of money it would drop.

    I, for one, would gladly spend hours a day going out into the fields and mass murdering mobs for their gil without ever needing to set foot on a city to sell mats or whatever else.

    In short, please add gil drops from all mobs that rises in quantity according to their level.

    Not to mention that it never made any sense whatsoever for random monsters to be carrying currency other than the beastmen or other humans. Honestly, money's a lot easier to come by than it ever was in XI thanks to guild leves and just how much easier in general gathering is.

    I don't normally like to harp on people, but seriously, OP needs to stop QQ and find a craft/gathering combo you like and stick with it. There are other long-term benefits to crafting than just money as well.

    I only ever want to see money drop from random enemies in offline games where the only person's experience it affects is your own.

    Humanoid enemies like bandits, zombie and skeletons are dropping gil already. But they are poor.
    What we need are rich bandits, zombies and skeletons.

    It would certainly make that 100,000,000 gil dropped from enemies achievement more realistic..

    nope, play like 40-50 titles (lost count), including all FF titles but XI and PS3 titles
    My point is, the game doing a realistic approach (thus the immersion) in almost everything, including the economy
    Thus, you wont find any non-humanoid mobs (even beastmen) that will drop gil. Heck, you wont even find any of those mobs drop armor or weapon

    its realistic. I like it. Lots of player like it. If you dont like, not my fault

    There are more craft and gather classes than battle classes by a large margin, of course they will focus on those jobs to make gil. Just level a gathering job and you will swim in gil anyway
