Keep the Tomes weekly limit, but open up Tomes exchange

For over a decade and until now, SE seems adamant to keep the weekly limit of Tomes (currently Tomes of Mathematics), and i dont think they have any plans to change that.

As an alternative solution, and to cater to those who need more Tomes outside the weekly limit (for gearing other jobs faster), Why not open up Tomes exchange between the weekly one and the previous tier one? As long as the exchanged tomes are not calculated into the weekly limit.

The exchange rate can be something like:

( 4 Heliometry = 1 Mathematics), and vice versa, if Heliometry are your priority.

    What do you guys think?

I'm of the opinion that my weekly limit should be for a per-role or per-class basis. I play all of the classes, I want them all to be geared.

Your exchange idea also would be welcome.

WAR don't get changes because they don't need changes. They only need more enemies to cleave.

I mean the whole point is to make an inherently addictive genre of games marginally less addictive to people susceptible to that. Why remove that safeguard? Considering the extreme lenghts of time between new tomestone tiers, it's not like we're in any way, shape or form in a hurry to get stuff from them.

Out of touch opinion. Majority of players want to multi-class at close to BIS easily like the game markets. It's made way to slow and restrictive to do this meaningfully for every job especially if you want duplicate sets for unique materia melds per for each job in a role.

I think the cap should be 2000 and the maximum amount holdable should be 10000

    [citation needed]

If you throw a claim around that the "majority" of players wants that, despite a thread with just a handful of replies and 0 upvotes (at time or writing), then you better be able to put some source behind that. Seems it's a tiny tiny minority that wants that, from all readily available evidence.
