The most anti-social content in the game.
I felt like the game was against me with the drop rates and the speed of another fate spawns.
Map was .. ugly and boring nothing to discover or feel excited about - heavy duty grind what felt as the game was supposed to be mine 9-5 daily job.
I log-in to actually have fun and feel satisfaction of achieving things but this... was quite opposite
Also the OC didn't let me level up any other classes or gain benefits for mine normal gameplay.
The biggest issue with OC revolves around your will to do Forked Tower or not, otherwise there's no point to anything else unless you're interested in getting armors for glam and collecting some minions/mounts through treasures. At the end of the day, phantom jobs are tools used to help with Forked Tower, and just grinding them out for the sake of number go up is not very enticing if you don't get to actually put them to good use.
Forked Tower was the end goal, but with the fumble on difficulty, it's akin to watching a TV show but you're not allowed to watch the final episode, so it left most people with a dissatisfied lack of closure for the whole South Horn.
Pilfer doesn’t even do anything for 99% of things you’ll do in OC
So you are praising the ability to apply a useless debuff then run around fast which is just ripped from impetus anyway?
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
Noone will ever convince me that phantom jobs are an upgrade over lost actions or logograms. I still haven't gone back into OC and, if North Horn is more of the same, I'll probably skip unless forced to interact due to future relic steps.

Bozja was damn near perfect.
Large scale dungeon content with normal mode and savage.
Lost action system was more robust.
Duel system.
Queue system for fates.
Could level other jobs while in zone.
Could progress all stages of the relic while in the zone.
Occult Crescent.
No queue system for fates.
No duel system
Phantom jobs seem too limited and safe compared to lost actions.
Cannot level other jobs while in zone.
Cannot complete all relic steps while in the zone.
No normal mode for large scale dungeon content
With this current relic step, Occult Crescent wont have any value for 6+ months. That is crazy
Personally dont want relic to be attached to anything specific but rather have various "options" instead to complete steps. Bozjan relic almost had it that way but then ruined it with the required the Bozja dungeons.Bozja was damn near perfect.

Unless the new mastery stacks and job abilities increase the group's damage to the point that the boss is dead almost instantly, there are too many binary pass/wipe mechanics for power creep to "solve" it.
I don't think this is true. I've been doing fine without touching forked tower. I have like over 100 hours in OC by now, and there's plenty of people who are just hanging out in there just to do it. To me this is like saying there's no point to the rest of the game unless you plan on raiding. Would it be nice if there was another tier of forked tower that was more pickup friendly? Of course. But really, it's one dungeon. People skip optional dungeons all the time and nobody really makes a big deal of it.It really all boils down to everything in OC is built around forked
If you don’t do forked then OC goes nowhere, if you do do forked then it’s still too much effort to do it a proportional amount of times to the amount of times the game seems to want you to do it to balance out OC
So it either doesn’t work or only half works but still leaves you unsatisfied depending on the situation
