I had a fun time farming the stones for the relic but after getting your first relic there was no need to do back to OC. I find it weird that the 2nd step doesnt have anything to do with OC... just a Que fest...

Phat Jobs, I dont care for them. I think their are lame.. They should've gave Phat jobs to our chocobos so we could use them in OC. Make our chocobos useful again.

OC needed dailies, maybe weekly dailies..

I have a feeling the new section their going to add is going to be the same thing..

This team has no idea what their doing..

It really all boils down to everything in OC is built around forked

If you don’t do forked then OC goes nowhere, if you do do forked then it’s still too much effort to do it a proportional amount of times to the amount of times the game seems to want you to do it to balance out OC

So it either doesn’t work or only half works but still leaves you unsatisfied depending on the situation

I think they were hoping the inflated coin costs for glamour, mounts, and other items in OC would make up the difference when people were done with the first step. Unfortunately either people got them all while doing that hell grind for Demiatma because their RNG laughed at them. Or, like me, they got a few things while doing it and just said no to the rest because the costs were super inflated.

The entry requirements and savage difficulty killed any hope of me doing forked. As its level synced, I can’t rely on better levels to overcome its difficulty.

I’m glad Yoshi explained their development process on raids though, it explains why everything is savage as they develop that first and then try to tune it down to normal. Hopefully the Quantum system will fix all of this.

I also hope that they can really figure out dynamic scaling so that the entire zone can go in as long as a minimum amount of players is met.

Phantom job actions are pretty sick if you actually slot them on your hot/cross bar. I had multiple thief actions slotted on viper and it was pretty fun debuffing with pilfer and using occult sprint at various times. I don't think you interacted enough.

Yeah, phantom job actions are nice once you have the time to play with them, changing them depending of the fight, etc. But by the time you get there, you spent so much time there lvling phantom jobs you kinda don't want to play OC anymore. As much as I want longer farm, I kinda feel the job lvling should be faster, so you have time to play with phantom jobs while you farm for other things you need to farm for.

I mean OC still not done though, supposedly getting more phantom jobs 7.4, and then another zone in 7.5 with more jobs. Assuming were getting additional levels with the new zone guess they could just allow higher levels to run Forked to naturally ease the difficulty.

There's not really much to it if you don't do Forked unlike with Bozja where you either would do CLL when it popped up or Dal when it popped up while doing things like collecting the honors post-story.

To be fair, that be just like a human player riding one of those monkey mounts or a hrothgar/miqote riding any cat mount or an aura riding a dragon mount.
