Please be sure to install the game to the C: drive as this works best with Final Fantasy XIV. Lastly, please be sure that no background processes are interfering with FFXIV (i.e. Anti-virus software, OneDrive, Discord etc.)

If you are still experiencing an error, please provide the following:

Could you provide the exact error message received?

Are you running any addition programs alongside Final Fantasy XIV?

Please confirm the current platform (windows/steam):

When the screen crashes to black, is the PC over heating at all?

Were any update or changes made to the PC at the time of the issue?

Could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.
