A small request.

The world, economies suck right now as we all know. Stress levels and depression are at all time highs.Unemployment is skyrocketing, Wars and tensions. Trade wars etc etc Take your pick on a problem.

The one thing, almost universally, brings many joyu and a little peace is the atmosphere of the Starlight Celebration. This year could we start the Starlight festival earlier . Like 2 weeks earlier. Looging in and hearing that gorgeous music, the decorations and just the feeling is one thing we could use a little more of.

It'd be also fun if they added starlight to more places than just the the three city states, but 2 extra weeks for starlight sounds like a neat idea!

Places like lowes, home depot, and Costco want us to start holiday planning in August. SE could decorate Limsa in July so they are ahead of things.

In real life, I’d definitely agree it’s getting ridiculous! lol It’s one day, and it’s all you hear about for 3 months at least! Personally I don’t celebrate Christmas, so I look at Starlight as a winter holiday of its own, not just “Eorzean Christmas.” For me it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have the snow and decorations up for the entire month of December. And they could do the same thing for the events where it makes sense, and/or they have some kind of special area set up. Like All Saints Wake could be up for all of October. (I’d like to see more gpose areas like that for other holidays too!)

But in a more general sense, I think I’d also like to see more events added to the various holidays if they ever did extend them like that. Not in a FOMO sense of “you have to be here the first week to do this particular thing,” but more like something new is added to the holiday each week, and you can do it at your own pace throughout the month. Almost goes without saying that extra rewards could be added too!
