    Solo duty: Nyelbert's Lament

    Hello All

And here I am, again stuck by a solo duty, and again one forcing me to play a class else than my. No need to rant this time since by now, you all know how much I hate the bother. So let's go straight to the point.

My problem: After a short run we arrive at Bovian. The fight starts. It goes on until two bulls spawn, usually right at the time I can use the special skill for first time (limit break full). So they're no problem and I clear them fast, while at same time damaging Bovian a lot. After that, it keeps going on with Bovian alone, fairly well, until suddenly the duty stops with notification that it failed.
    Huh... What? Why? What happens?

My question: It's clear to me that once more, I fail to see/understand something causing the duty failure. Do you know what it could be? If yes, could you please explain to me what I have to do to prevent it?

Thank you very much in advance.

These role quest duties test your unique role abilities and therefore actually challenge your ability to use the role correctly. An example of this is: tanks have to interrupt, healers have to Esuna and heal instead of attacking, DPS have to dodge attacks because they can't absorb damage the way tanks can. While players ignore these things a lot in dungeons, they are all tested in role quests and the duty fails if they are not done.

Assuming you kept out of range of the swipes, the next major attack is a stack marker, where you need to stand with the rest of your team to share the damage with them. If you didn't do this, the damage wouldn't split enough, kill either you or them. You will notice they all stand in a blue circle, and I believe that is a cure from the Lamitt, so try to stand in the blue circle for it.

Eventually, some rocks appear that actually stay there. If you get a yellow target marker on you, you need to stand behind the rock (fully behind, you cannot be inside it). This will allow you to use the rock as a shield. I believe you are meant to get the rock on the right (relative to the entrance).

When it's nearly dead, it will cast 200,000-mina Swing. If you know about the casts of these type of enemies, that means an unvoidable and deadly swing covering the entire arena. Cylva will use a protective move to protect you, but you must stand behind her for it (the blue barrier).

Thank you for the description. I will try to identify what is the killer point in my case. Based on what you say, it could be the stack marker, because I can't recall seeing any. I will keep your post on my 2nd screen while retrying later today.
