Hrm, pretty neat idea, though for any new job (FFXIV has more than enough already if we're being honest) I'd really want very unique gameplay elements.

I guess in this case two immediately obvious elements of this design would be:

* All attacks AoEs, most of them PBAoE.
* Never-ending, maybe even auto-attacking, as you never stop spinning with your sickle? Or maybe even two modes, in one you cannot stop spinning and moving and all is AoE, in the other you're static but things are single-target, slower and you can't use some abilities?

And then like you say, do a lot with infusions of aether to emulate Erich. Come to think of it they could take a chunk out of some other MMOs, and make it so that this job has PBAoE autoattacks, no actual attack abilities, and the infusions modify the next auto-attack. So what is an attack skill on another job is an infusion here, and there's a delay before it is used (obvs some stuff can't work like this such as Interject).
