You know, that button that says Leave Duty and then the pop-up that says, "Are you sure?" The moment you click Yes, the penalty starts.

The only roulette that people regularly leave is alliance and that is because square has let the alliance raid roulette rot for so long they have nobody to blame but themselves

The alliance roulette should he properly rebalanced, if you are experiencing constant problems in the other roulettes then there may be a deeper problem

The issue is still the same, you don't know why people are leaving. When I know I gotta leave a dungeon I don't inconvenience my party by forcing them to kick me. I apologize, explain that I really gotta go and yeet myself out of the party so they can immediately recruit a replacement. In this case, I didn't ragequit, yet I would be forced to deal with the penalty you're proposing. Why?

This would also cause people to - instead of leaving - mass-AFK at the start of CT raids just like those BLM bots, a much bigger issue than simply having to replace them. If someone enters combat or opens a coffer, you can forget about kicking any of them. You'll just give them a free clear.

And what about the people who leave without eating the penalty? Only the first person to quit a duty gets hit by the 30min penalty. After that, everyone can leave and re-queue immediately. Should they continue to be able to avoid the penalty, or eat it just like the first player?

Guess then I will never run Mentor roulette ever again.
My Char could become bricked and unplayable if i happen to get into certain EX trails because they are impossible to do with sprouts who are undergeared, not prepared and dont read/ understand the chat.
