    Suggestion: Allow exp gain at max level to be useful.

    Hello,

    My favorite thing to do in this game is leveling. I love the feeling of doing something, getting exp for it and leveling through it. Unfortunately at max level, that entire gameplay pillar just stops existing. This bummed me out last expansion when I had every job at max level in the first patch and didn't have much to do the entire expansion.

    Because of this I have been thinking of a an easy to implement solution and I think I have a solid one.

    At max level, what is most relevant and useful is tomestones. I love FFXIV's game design where pretty much everything you do at max level gives you end game tomestones. That being the case, why not let leveling/exp also give tomestones as reward?

    I propose that at max level, just like in Eureka/Bozja/etc, the exp bar changes. There would be prestige exp bar, something like this:



    Every class at max level shares this prestige exp bar, and all exp gained by any class at max level would contribute to this. When the bar fills, it resets and we get a reward of mainly tomestones (all 3 kinds). (You could add other rewards like gil / weekly upgrade token for max level tomestone gear / etc. But mainly tomestones.) This would make leveling at endgame a viable method of capping tomestones and drastically decreases the boredom of running expert roulette over and over again.

    I hope some version of this makes it into the game some day as I really want exp to be useful at max level.

    I'm of the opinion that the leveling system should be removed entirely and replaced with a system that scales upwards much better. But short of that, with the existing leveling system intact this sounds like a great idea, low cost to implement and easy and obvious rewards.

    However, rather than just getting tomestones, having options of what currency you could get would be preferable. Even better if it were a sphere grid situation.
