I mean imagine if they brought one job for phy dps and introduced some skill trees with some older skills. For example Bulwark in PLD 6.4 mini-rework was brought back. Seeing videos of older abilities be cool to see back but modern

A happy family between a viera, a goddess and a child

phys range is almost guaranteed. i want a corsair with dual pistols.
2nd job will probably be a tank. mystic knight maybe.

Honestly I wouldn't be mad if this next expansion didn't have any new jobs, and instead they actually made the current jobs significantly better.
I'd like the next physical ranged to be Gambler, using Ace from Type-0 as the main inspiration.
(Granted, the gif is from Dissidia but it gets the point across)

Apology Mage with its signature 2 minute burst "Please look forward to it"
Or Wuk'Lmancer, wich uses the power of friendship to deal psicologic damage to enemies
We're probably going to get Mystic Knight as our tank (Think Golbez like tank, classical golbez) since it's been heavily hinted at through the MSQ and OC story. We do know that the swordsmen of Karnak are (probably) Mystic Knights, but given it's previous incarnations as being turban sporting curved sword wielding knights, it's likely going to be changed up, I can see it being a class that uses gauntlet's as it's weapons, similarly to some Monk Weapons that uses specialized foci in the gauntlets for rapid casting using offensive and defensive magics whilst also wielding heavy armor.
Either that or we're going to finally get Ala Mhigan Sworddancer, but because we already have viper as a dual wielding sword class, that is unlikely to happen.

I am once again asking for a blitzball job and for the job questline to revolve around leading an underdog team to victory.
Going Final Fantasy Themed, here's my picks:
Healer - Green Mage (Protecting, Buffing, Debuffing)
Tank - Magic Knight (Caster, Sword Magic)
DPS/Tank - Viking (Melee, Strength, Hammers)
DPS - Spellblade (Melee, Magic infused attacks)
DPS - Necromancer (Caster, Focus, Dark Arts, Summoning attacks)
DPS - Illusionist (Caster, omni-element spells like Tempest, Rockfall, Star Cross)
DPS - Time Mage (Caster, physical spells)
DPS - Gambler (Physical Ranged, Cards, Dice, Slots)
DPS - Corsair (Physical Ranged, Pistols, Hexaguns, Cards)
There aren't many recurring jobs left, with Viper already being an original XIV creation (loosely based on Zidane).
And especially with Occult Crescent having claimed cool ones like Time mage or Oracle. But maybe those still have a chance since Monk and Samurai exist there twice as well.
Cannoneer and Riskbreaker calling it now

I dont think we need any more new jobs. We already have a problem of homogen8zing the jobs, as there is barely any reason to pick between tanks, since fameplay would be the same, excluding a coyple of cds.
Viper is just a thinner reaper, sage and sch overwrite each other shields so you have to choose between then in your party list, bard's and dnc buffs are irrelevant on a grander scale of things. And they clearly can't pick a direction for ast and keep ripping and reattaching his cards buffs. They butchered smn, clearly trying to simplify its 2min rotation, removing anything that actually made the class special, and gave them just a reskinned bahamut as a "new" phase.
And new classes will only add to this bullsh*t more, we will get just another class of "gauge or cooldown" that will look particularly similar to other class we already have, or that will be just straight up overlapping with other classes mechs.
