There's been something bugging me since they reworked this map, and it's that the explanatory page they wrote for the mode leaves much to be desired. (https://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...e/frontline/1/)
As you know, there are two resources pertinent to this mode. One is your amount of battle high, and the other is the scoreboard that determines who comes in 1st/2nd/3rd. The term they use to refer to the latter is ostensibly "Tactical Rating" as you can see here.
However right after that, under the subheader "Increasing Tactical Rating", they instead use the term "Tactical Points" to refer to said rating. Now you might think, okay, maybe tactical rating means the scoreboard as a mechanic in general, and tactical points refers to the precise numerical value on that scoreboard. Kinda clumsy, but logical enough.
Next, in the second instance where points are mentioned in this picture, they reference both points and rating, and it's completely ambiguous which one refers to battle high, and which one refers to the scoreboard.
If we assume that "raise the rating of the party that contributed the most" refers to the scoreboard, that means they're now using tactical points to describe battle high being accrued. If you assume the reverse, then they're now using rating to describe battle high instead, which is completely at odds with the whole section.
They do confusingly refer to battle high as 'rating' as well, but the first instance of this isn't until further down the page here.
So, my question is, which description of the interceptor drone mechanics is the correct one?
A: Everyone gets battle high proportional to damage dealt, only the party that contributed the most gets scoreboard progress.
B: Everyone gets scoreboard progress proportional to damage dealt, only the party that contributed the most gains battle high.
I'm kind of leaning toward B myself, but I want a second opinion and to also vent about how confusing the page is.
