So you like leves, which have an arrow which completely directs you to the objectives you need to complete, where you often "kill x mobs" and then return to camp, but you vehemetly detest the idea of having an NPC ask you to do this same thing? I really don't understand the issue.

1.0 -> Leves, dungeons, mob exp
2.0 -> Leves, quests (aka leves with cut scenes), dungeons, mob exp

Not seeing the problem. Honestly while I don't absolutely "love" questing, I do wish that quests in this game gave any semblance of decent experience. I swear I spent like an hour and a half on this one botanist quest and got like 3k exp for it. And while the story was ok, I was hoping to get a large amount of experience out of that sort of time investment. Haven't really gone through to do any other class quests since that one.
