To be fair this is FFXIV and RDM don't exsist either... so how am I getting ahead of myself?

I would just like to see a sword class (that doesn't use a shield) that is a damage dealing class.

My point was you could just as easily create near enough the same results without adding in the grips into the equatiion like just lock out shield for Rdm and give fencing weapons higher dps ratings than swords for example.
