There is no shard or dimension where this post isn't bait, good god...
It's not. It's supposed to be a new feature, but as seen here there is evidence it does not work.
Never used the feature, but it doesn't look like that thing filters party/alliance messages anyway.
If you feel it's wrong, you can go and argue with the 7.0 Patch Notes

*it doesn't work very well.
It seems to have no wildcard method, any difference in punctuation or added letters bypasses the filter. There's also only 20 slots.
Really needs an update and I forgot about it after giving up since it was so useless for blocking venue ads (They have a lot of ways they may use key terms, and there's too many for 20)
remove first letter, so big or small first letter doesn't matter
meowdy - eowdy
French - rench
etc.
But yeah party is exempt it seems
So in other words, the no soliciting mod is still VERY needed, lol.
Nobody wants to see your cult spam. Should be axed from the game entirely.
Surprised this wasn't on Crystal too; that's a pretty baseline layout over here. I would've had "meowdy" blocked if I didn't already notice party chat was excluded. Doesn't work on PF descriptions either, or "pspspsppspspspspspspspspspspspspspsppsp" would be the first thing gone.
