It's nice to have something to grind for a meaningful end game weapon - even if it's farming old content.

My favorite part of this is seeing people having a crashout when they add the grind everyone was claiming they wanted.

A grind would be needing to spam specific duties or fight specific bosses and etc. Doing your roulettes once a day, which is what a lot of people do already, isn't a grind. It's their daily chore.
The point of contention people had with the EW relics is they were a boring tomestone grind while you simply did roulettes and got one with zero effort. This step is literally that, but dressed up as something else. And then it becomes actually that anyway.

I am firmly against crafting being required for DoW/M relics.
Crafter's and gatherers get their own.
If it was collect items from bi coloured gems or silver/gold from OC, absolutely fine.
Do you dislike crafters making DoW/M gear for DoW/M jobs too? I have 3 Omni crafter alts, I don’t participate in the in game economy. I make and gather all my own mats and make all my own gear. Have for years since ARR.
Good job SE. Content for those of us who didn’t watch from the sidelines for 12 years.
Also all the crying about roulettes being a part of the relic step from other posters… I run with a crew of 3 from ARR going on 12 years. My static from FF11. We do a set or two of roulettes daily in addition to our other weeklies like unreal, and OC/eureka etc.
Good job SE. Content for those of us that do released content already. I like some added bonuses to my dailies.
So by that logic, they should make Moon stuff require adventuring classes. Let us have it both ways. This way adventurers can sell stuff to all of you. But we both know Square would never do that. For some reason.

Crafting already requires adventuring classes: The latest and greatest crafter/gatherer gear requires materials that can only be purchased with tomestones. All the recipes that require materials dropped from killing mobs or purchased with bicolor gemstones. Etc.
