Just wanted to say thank you Square, finally we can grind again and im loving it,

without the Bonus i got like 200 Points towards the 10k Aether Progress which means atleast 40 Raids onwards, Alliance and High Duty Dungeon not tested yet, but i guess it will be similiar, so finally there is a nice grind and a reason to use the Dutyroulettes again!

Grinding what will become the best in hand weapon by end of expansion feels meaningful.
The grind can also be done on jobs you haven't reached max level yet (again, feeling meaningful and giving you more reason to get jobs ready for next expansion).
Having something to do that's end-game feel's great.

This is a much preffered change to the previous itterations of: Cutscene > Tomestone > Relic with no grind involved at all.
I don't really understand the other side's point of view who believe the best game in the weapon should be something just given to you freely without any investment of time (that's not how best in slot weapons usually/should work).
Hopefully future steps will continue to keep players busy and work towards something (albeit in a better way than roulette spaming, but I take this as a win).

Correct me here but isn't it the light stage thingy done once per daily roulette reset or can we keep going? I'm confused on this new relic stage lol

You get a bonus once a day, along with your daily roulette bonus, but you can do the roulette as much as you want and it will still give you some, the amount you get seem to be strongly based on the content you get, with higher level content giving more, getting Zodiac Chimera gave me a pitiful 31 aside the bonus, but Crown of the Immaculate gave me 186.
