    I don’t get this logic about the silver grind being too slow. Like if you massively sped up the silver grind what would you do? Run out of content faster?

    Like the problem that OC is bad is totally fair. But why are people’s solutions always “make it shorter” rather than “fix why it’s bad”. Like I have 12 mastery stacks and a full set of +2 gear doing the most damage possible in OC and I’m sitting here going “yeah OC has ALOT of flaws but I kinda wish the gear took longer so the content stretched further and they made it more interesting”

    Not sitting here going “damn I wish I could get all the silver in 10 minutes and leave”

    As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.

    I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

    I mean, to be fair… a lot of people came here and offered suggestions for what would make it better, especially the Tower. But all they really did was fix the entry method, they didn’t solve the issue of a lack of repeatable dungeon content, making the Tower still feel out of reach for many. And that kills the enthusiasm for the zone, because the focal point that everything leads towards isn’t readily clearable and easy enough to run on loop for its rewards, like Bozja. Not only that, but it doesn’t have special CEs tied to the relics like Eureka did either. They already used all the CEs and Fates for the atma stage, there’s no room to even put another OC relic step in for stage 2.

    Sure I’d much prefer OC be improved and the Tower actually get its Normal mode especially, and I’ve been quite vocal about that. But failing that, it’s easy to see why others feel the zone is pointless and just want to get it over with as quickly as possible, get the rewards they can and move on to something else. Pretty much the same thing Chaotic suffered from, for similar reasons.

    Bozja doesn't have "repeatable" dungeon content, though, so I'm not sure why that's being brought up here. CLL, DRN, and Dal are all rote and uninteresting after the second or third run -- same as anything that can be run via Duty Finder. Running CLL a million times for coins, or DRN a million times for Timeworn artifacts are both just as much a chore as running ye olde daily roulettes or grinding out FATEs and CEs in {region-du-jour}.

    Running DRN with maxed medals is one of the most fun thing I ever did in the game. The feeling you're breaking the game because you're tanking the whole thing as a smn while the never uses heal and only esuna once and everything run smooth was just a blast. Granted I farmed DRN pretty late, but to me, the fact later mechanics give earlier content a new flavor is a big plus.

    That’s more on Bozja and eureka’s independent vertical progression (rays and lost actions)

    Another thing that OC lacks

    OC’s unique vertical progression is actually on paper very powerful (12 mastery stacks and all +2 armour) is about 42% extra damage compared to base but it has nothing that breaks the game like elemental armour or fragments do

    That’s something OC can and SHOULD add now, not just wait till 7.45

    It's more than that. I think my first purchase was at level 7 for the map and my recent one was at 17. It's just too slow. 30 and 200 just isn't enough. It's just not. Ironically leveling has been really good. That's about my only positive and it's not bogged down by convoluted systems. It's a straightforward zone. It's just FATE grinding fucking sucks

    But that still doesn’t really explain anything. It’s slow in relation to what? Knowledge level? Honestly knowledge level is completely redundant and doesn’t even need to exist. Other than that what is it slow against and if you don’t like OC why does silver matter since beyond the riding map it’s basically there to buy arcanauts gear which just has occult effect anyway?

    The rate is just too slow or the items cost too much. It's one of the two to me. It felt like an eternity to get to 3k only to have my first purchase stolen from me because of poor game design. Then my second purchase was the 5k mount and that felt like an eternity as well. I guess piss poor content will do that to you, but that's how I feel. If the rewards were cheaper maybe it wouldn't be as bad, but it just feels like everything in there takes too damn long. I can't give you a breakdown it's just how it felt. I still want that coat for Bard, but honestly, I can't take that place anymore. It's designed to waste as much of your time as possible.

    Anyway, that's how I feel about it. If you don't agree that's fine. I just feel like it takes too damn long to get to anything you want.

    While I dont disagree, they added Silver and Gold coins to pot FATE chests as well as carrot chests. I know it doesnt resolve the issue, but they tried.
