My biggest issue so far, it doesnt feel like a social content. Previously, you'd have enough time to chitchat in shout chat, read funny comments and also ask if anybody has a tracker/trying to pop a FATE. As of now, it's an awful 3min check between CE's. You don't even have time to chat with your own friends, cause if you do - you will miss out FATE's or even CE's.
Also, I almost maxed my 12 jobs and yet, I did not get my Berserker Phantom Job. Yes, RNG is horrible and there should be a pity rate.

100% agree with the op. My biggest issue is I just wish there was a normal mode of FTB. I would hate OC 50% less if it felt like I hadn't wasted hours grinding for a dungeon I can't even participate in. The devs not even trying to make a normal mode is just salt in the wound.

On the fate text at the side of your screen is a tiny little button/elixir icon you click to feed elixir to the pot. It will then give you a direction to travel in until you reach a chest.I still don't even know how those work, lol. I did a pot FATE and the guy told me to give it an elixir from my key items, but I don't have that so I just went and did more FATEs and the pot died. Maybe it's story progression? I didn't pay attention to the story. It's been a red quest this whole time I've been in OC.

Baldesion Arsenal doesn't have a normal mode and it's totally accessible to casual players. It isn't hard anymore with proper preparation and some communication. Delubrum Reginae normal just feels flat in comparison, just another normal dungeon.




BA is accessible because elemental armour makes you so incredibly powerful
A full set of elemental armour halves your damage taken and almost triples your damage given
Arcanauts armour doesn’t decrease your damage taken and current OC BIS only increases your damage by 40% (majority of which comes from mastery stacks). Even if they doubled the gear stats in north horn (so either increasing the left side to +5 or adding +2 accessories with the same stats) then 52% from mastery stacks and 27% from gear equals 98% more damage but still no reduction in damage taken
Then when you factor in it’s almost never enrage you actually die to in forked rather being mechanics and this theoretical +26 mastery stacks and all +2 gear being way less accessible than elemental gear and it’s just…..you aren’t going to outscale forked unless they dump SAM entirely as the flat high damage job that does nothing else and introduce something massive like flare star and even then you will have to clear mechanics like fire towers or bridges which don’t care about DPS

As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

Baldesion Arsenal is almost entirely "normal mode" level of mechanics and doesn't have a hard cap on how many times you can be resurrected. And as Supersnow already mentioned, the Eureka-specific equipment neuters it even more, allowing some mistakes to be survivable. Forked Tower is full of modern Extreme/Savage level mechanics and and body checks all over the place, with a hard cap of 3 resurrections per person.



This. And as Supersnow says, you’re not going to be able to outscale it, and the mechs along with the rez limit are the issue.
