There seems to be a lot of excitement about Mare recently, and despite the misspelling of the name (It's Lamentorum, check your maps), I too share in the enthusiasm, so I wanted to make a post:

Let's discuss our favorite things about Mare Lamentorum. What do you like? What do you dislike? What do you want to see changed or expanded on? For me I like the view of Etheirys during umbral wind. There's something hauntingly beautiful about it. As always, excited to read the valued feedback of others.

Yeah they dont have tails sadly, and their feet are done bad on this game. Feet -> claw based like in FF12 and Tactics.

That's something that's been bothering me. I'm sure they tried it and it didn't work out for some technical reason (something tells me it has something to do with dealing w/ eclipses that would've made it extremely complicated since Etheirys does have phases if you look at how it changes over the course of time). But it's still a little jarring to look up and not see, well, the sun when you're being blazed by it

Because the atmosphere on the moon is thin, to prevent serious UV burn, Hydalaen gave it a permanent floating solar shield that carefully orbits the moon and blocks out direct sunlight at all times, leaving only the ambiant light to hit us /jk

The planet replaces the sun on a technical level. It's just fixed as if the time of day never changed, that's about it.
