MsMisato is better suited to answer that question, but I'll make the assumption it's because Brynhildr is on the same DC as Balmung, which has a big community of both raiders and role-players, as far as I understand. Balmung is Congested for a while now.

While DC travel can be handy and all, if someone's preferred target server is overpopulated, people still prefer to be at least somewhere on the same DC rather than to travel between them all the time (and it's kind of why we have this conversation here to begin with), and since Balmung is closed for creation and transfer since March 25th, people went to neighboring servers on the same DC. From what I can see through status change history, after Balmung was closed, other servers followed suit in coming months, so that seems to be a tendency.

I get it Balmung is highly populated in RP, ever since I started playing on Brynhildr, so like maybe 1 or 2 years after I ever started playing which means around 2015-2016.

You see, I aim Tonberry to create a JP & EN lanchuage exchange place, like I did without dedication of old time on Kujata. First server I joined in JP DC was in Fenrir, in an exhange language FC and it seemed to work. Maybe I might join them back, if they reaccept me, because I remember I made some drama it was 2024 I think?
