Server's major status isn't changed that often, so I wouldn't expect it to go back from Congested to Standard any time soon. The best you could probably do is play on Brynhildr by doing DC travel that is availale in-game. It comes with inconventient side-effects though, such as being unable to use retainers while you're not on your home world, so not exactly a perfect solution for extended periods of time. Going back to Elemental DC is probably more realistic.

I'm looking for an easygoing FC in JP DC, NA is excellent, but too much for what I read in FCs chats. There's come my envy to go back JP DC, Kujata but I would prefere Tonberry. And for the EU, I had great moment but I was overwhelmed by the fantasticness of game's contents, i was also a bit younger.

Q: Can a preferred can transfer to another preferred or even a preferred + for free? What about OCE DC for a living in EU. I live in EU, I maybe better join back EU, but if I would meet someone from ingame to irl, I would hate it. You see I'm professionnal music artist and chatting about it acually could be good I think, even on EU DC, but on another side, I much protect my ID, or artist ID more so, both goes well and I stop being a Batman.

And as in 2021 or so i had my rank 30 FC I was the master, and I made a PvP team with the 4 interested, that in EU. But if I go JP I prepare in advance my travel irl to SEA.

Edit: is it even useful to have an alt, or have an alt in another DC, it will cost me 18 buck now with the sales to boost correctly, just 4 bucks more than a simple transfer (if I wait one or two months).
The sales ends the 11th September. So could you reason me to just be patient and not having an alt, it's not about the pay of boost, it's that I would love to have max achievements and imagine with 2 character, fighting one and the other to get a buy. I know some people do that, they might be wealthy, or sick with health care (like myself, but don't worry, I'm OK I have a professional career to embrace soon)

If you mean DC travel that I mentioned prior, then when you're in character selection menu, open context menu for the character you're going to log in with, and there will be an option to travel to a different DC. It works within the region, and all regions can travel to OCE servers.

DC travel allows you to play on a different data center without doing a permanent transfer, which can be very handy if you're planning to raid or if your friends are from different server. It does have some limitations, which are listed in the guide above.

1 char is too much, as far as the expansion are going, you could not simply create a new character and trihard to catch up from ARR to on all your classes until DT "Just buy boosts, baka" -Yoshida P

I'll create an alt in Tonberry (not so long ago one couldn't create a character there) then bring my main from Seraph there, even if I would have to pay 14€ more for the transfer on top of the 27€ for the alt boosts.

I'm not doing so for escape actuality and actual conjoncture, it's just I want to re feel loving the game, for having played it since closed beta, when I played alts before I used it for the summoning 2 more retainers for free, instead of paying the +1€ to my sub.

i mean, 90 days is the standard for transferring to a preferred server for free. you gain a benefit, if you had a house, you the cost back plus some and if you had an apart the cost and plus some, you make money from transferring its a fair exchange and its time is the price you have to pay. I would just use the dc travel to crystal in the meantime at least and join a CwlS for know and hope a it goes to normal for Brynhldr. I get why its congested right now.

Yeah I see your point of views, but as I am honest I didn't even thought making profits, the only difference for me in perks was road to 90 or whatever. It's fine, I already made an alt in Tonberry, and will see the 10th end of my sub, if I finished my 90 days sentence and could transfer, even paid.

MsMisato is better suited to answer that question, but I'll make the assumption it's because Brynhildr is on the same DC as Balmung, which has a big community of both raiders and role-players, as far as I understand. Balmung is Congested for a while now.

While DC travel can be handy and all, if someone's preferred target server is overpopulated, people still prefer to be at least somewhere on the same DC rather than to travel between them all the time (and it's kind of why we have this conversation here to begin with), and since Balmung is closed for creation and transfer since March 25th, people went to neighboring servers on the same DC. From what I can see through status change history, after Balmung was closed, other servers followed suit in coming months, so that seems to be a tendency.
