The change to "join duty in progress" was dumb.

Why? Practically all this achieves is making it harder for groups to fill back up if someone leaves or d/c's. Are they concerned people will be "spoiled" or "miss out" if they end up joining halfway through a dungeon or something? Not an issue for trials/raids but it still applies to everything regardless. On top of the fact that this is an option you have to turn ON. It's off by default. So clearly if you enabled that then you don't actually care.

As a mentor who regularly queues into non expert roulettes, the number of times I get sucked into an in progress is less than ten percent. I *want* the in progress, because they will be half length (or just really want someone who knows what they are doing) but I get them so very rarely.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this only applies to people who haven't actually done the dungeon yet, yes? If so, the odds of that having any impact on filling duty in progress is exceedingly low.

The real reason it's harder to fill is because 7.3 is kind of a lull for people content wise. So they're simply not queuing for roulettes as frequently.
