Really, I think the biggest problem is the sleeves on Prishe's armor are the wrong shade of purple.
Not really a problem, since this has been in many duties before - giant leaps, teleport, realms shift etc.
My huge problem with Alliance Raids for some time now (EW) included, is complete lack of alliance mechanics. Out of 12 (?) boss encounters in both DT alliance raids, I can only remember one alliance mechanic when each alliance had to target different boss in the first walk.
Where did alliance mechanics go and why?!
I did mention that it's been a trend. So many duties we fall from unimaginable heights and just land without getting hurt at all. It's bizarre, when they could at least invent a reason why we don't die.Not really a problem, since this has been in many duties before - giant leaps, teleport, realms shift etc.

And that's a good point about alliance mechanics. I like when the different parties get split up for a little bit. It reminds me of FFVI.
This is a game not reality. Logic does not need apply if ever. And this is not and alliance problem, it's a problem you have with the raid.

My biggest and only problem with the new Raid is the sheer amount of effect nonsense that's goin on. Half of which isn't needed. My poor GPU keeps screaming at Faithbound Kirin.
Remember when Byakko launched us hundreds of meters into the air and we skydived through a tornado with no parachute and took zero damage upon violently crashing into the ground?
Bring back 6.0 Dragoon. I want my job back.
Or Dragoons leaping impossibly high into the air and coming down with the force of a missile? And lets not forget standing on the moon where no breathable air exists?
Note: Taking advice from a players alt, is like taking advice from a voice in a dark room. Criticism is a two way street remember that!!
It's a Final Fantasy trope. There's a lot of incredibly long falls that were survived. They always survive the fall, even that one into the planet's core.
I think it's because Hironobu Sakaguchi has a fear of heights, at least I recall reading somewhere that this was the case.
They have stopped bothering with any explanation for a lot of optional content by now. Myth of the Realm had the Twelve tell us "just come fight us lol" for 3 alliance raid patches just because they had to make 3 alliance raids with fights. Is that the biggest problem to you? :T
To me is the storyline.
It feels like I'm watching a movie divided by 2 commercials (even patches), because the part 1 and 2 storyline doesn't really have any big moments. Pretty much like Endwalker's too.
Also, bothers me that the raids themselves are really just something "extra" to serve as background. What is the purpose of those raids? AFAIK the only relevant event that happened going into those fights was getting Prishe. The Shadow Lord, or the last boss from the 2nd installment could be literally anything from FFXI and would make no difference. Prishe aside, if you skipped those raid encounters, it wouldn't change a lot because the important events of the plot are all resolved in cutscenes outside of the raid.
I don't remember it being this way for Shadows of Mhach, Ivalice or even Nier - all of the raids there had a pretty definite purpose, even when the last boss felt like filler. It always ended on a high note.
And to add insult to injury for that one, if you haven't played XI, you have no fucking idea what this is all about unlike the Twelve. Feels like I'm being forced into the skin of a story skipper.
Secretly had a crush on Mao
