Oh this is cute..... Also explains where the sun in Everkeep is.... Actually, is there a sun in the Hunter's Ring in Arcadion? Is that also "in the dome"?

Cute story. Despite Sphene being the POV character, it's not really a Sphene story.

It's interesting that it takes place immediately after 7.3 during the funerary services. It seems likely they will be more of a backdrop instead of a plot point in 7.4's MSQ.

It might not be as lore-heavy as some other batches, but I think this might be my favorite short story batch they've ever done. At least, that I can immediately remember.

With every other batch there was always a story I hated or thought was a waste (in recent years it was almost always an Ancient one), or a place I wish they would've focused on--usually both, with one problem causing the other. But this batch I think hit everything we should've gotten, and did them all really well--not everything I would've wanted, I still think a Gulool Ja Ja story would've been good, but they covered everything that I'd say called for more attention than the game itself was able to give.

And for this story itself, I did really want a story focused on the memory restoration and what that actually meant, so I'm very happy to get one, even if I do wish it covered the logic of that a little more heavily; I kinda want to know what this girl thought her dad was like before. Was it just 'logically he existed', or did she have some assumptions about what he must've been like?
