You said it best yourself. They are entitled to their opinion outside work. So I do not understand what you have a problem with.

That said, political influences make it into creative works. I think Star Trek abolished money or something like that. Just need to remember that it's fiction and to not take it seriously.

You’re right that creative works often reflect political ideas, and I don’t expect FFXIV to exist in a vacuum. My concern isn’t about politics in fiction in general, but about when very strong real-world activism from staff is expressed so publicly that it creates doubt among players about neutrality.

FFXIV has always been a space where people from very different backgrounds can enjoy the game together, and I’d just like to see that remain the focus rather than players worrying about outside agendas.
