Bonding guests cross world now?

IDK where to ask this so here it is.

I was looking at the new EB website and it LOOKS like a few things about the ceremonies have been updated? (I don't remember there being a romantic lighting option previously).

As I was poking around I noticed that you can trade invitations to guests directly. Now, if you dig deeper it DOES say that you can trade or send them in the mail, then goes on to clarify that "Invitations cannot be sent to players with a different Home World than the hosts.", but it also says that you just need the invitation in your inventory to attend. So... can off-world players still attend?

I don't wanna harass friends to make alts if they don't have to lmao

I have not attended a ceremony in a few months but as far as I know people need to create an alt in the home world of the couple to be able to attend, as you mentioned. The lighting options change based on the plan, with the standard having only one and gold/platinum having two.
I cannot find any announcement of things having changed, but I am not checking notices too often.

The FAQ on the new site says that both characters being bonded must live on the same world.

Haven't you always been able to trade the invites? I've been to many weddings and I've always been handed the invitation. Strangers have walked up to me and given them to me for years.

Oh yeah. I think guests do have to be on the same homeworld as the ceremony. Though it doesn't say that anyhwere that I can see.
