We don't need our full kits in older content. What we do need is for them to stop neutering that content, while making class design/progression somewhat enjoyable again. If you allow us the full kits, as they stand -at the moment-, you'd be taking an already mundane experience and slapping a fast forward button on it. .. I'm not a big fan of fast forward buttons - at that point I'd rather just let people skip content entirely to get to the 'good content', or whatever.
Regional Cross-DC stuff is always a thumbs up if it 'works'.
I have no problem with how gear is distributed between characters, but I find stats largely redundant and a waste of time in the current iteration of the game.
I'm alright with the current glamour system but I'm always in favour of expanding it even further, so big thumbs up there.
I'd argue that 99% of content in an MMO feels boring after the first clear, and this is why MMOs largely attract a grind-player mind-set. I'd like the content itself to be more enjoyable, via class design and boss design being more enjoyable and less streamlined. The reward should be engagement. Not giving me a shiny trinket for performing a mundane activity.
Housing system... I don't disagree, but I'm still juggling around in my head how WoW can possibly promise an infinite number of self-generating housing neighbourhoods? It feels incredibly lofty, but what they're promising, is, indeed, pretty damned swell. The housing system in FFXIV may be dated, but I'd argue the housing system in WoW is over fifteen years too late for me to care about.
We dont need our full kits in older content? You must be the kind of person who enjoys a two button rotation.
I think having our full kits in any content would be amazing, on the contrary.
But I don't think it'd improve already brainrotted content that's scaled around a two button rotation.
Having your level 100 kit in a level 15 duty AL Doesn't make sense and B: Is going to suck for every level 15 player doing the same content, imagine you have two buttons and the level 100 DNC is running through almost 30.
Does it really matter? Do we have data in any other game where this situation makes lower level players feel bad?
Is not like a player is stuck at level 15 forever, and I don't feel as if the playerbase is immature enough to feel jealousy about a level capped player, as they'll be there eventually.
Damage can be even out as well via scaling for the level capped player.
The glamour system also needs to be unrestricted! We should be able to put any glamour on any jobs just like the npcs can!

HEY SE, WHATCHU GONNA DO BOUT THE SQUADRAN SYSTEM?!

I believe that square should make level 60 the new level one you have all your kit at starting level and you learn it through a tutorial that is voiced at the start of the game then you start gaining skills every 10 levels until you are what you are at level 100+
they encourage you heavily to do the hall of novice and even give you a kool outfit or emote it already has some nice glams.
if making the level 60 kit the level one kit this means scaling up the dungeons at level 15 so be it people now a days are more than ready to see a lot going on on their screen out the gate look at how popular the metal gear solid games are..
also they should add a manual level sync ability to the game so we older players can help new players clear their quests it would be very nice
some things they have done is nice though being able to see glam items being able to run and mount etx square is going the right direction here.
get rid of the current demo system make it every other 4 montsh that houses get demo just add more wards

I agree alot on the being able to play the content again and again and all of it... the way the game is built and many other mmos... you buy... open... and toss away with the next expansion as outleveled entirely.
Removing the level system or entirely not going beyond level 100, removal of iLevel as well would be a good feature entirely and just let us play and do stuff as for playing the game and the games in it...
You can go to pretty much any master city in any expansion and find them dead empty, except for the arr ones, limsa/gridania/ul'dah.
Gear only being useful in the raid you picked it up from isn't very fun.

Maybe things changed since I last tried WoW, but a big issue with their mechanic of scaling down resulted in cases where to run an old dungeon like Ragefire Chasm, the party member with the closest damage would do insane damage with just 1-2 spells/attacks while you'd have to use your entire rotation just to compensate for your lowered damage. That doesn't feel good, that makes you feel weak.[LIST][*]Level Sync System
At level 100, most content removes half our skills. I avoid roulettes because I don't want to play a watered-down version of my job. WoW's timewalking lets you use your full kit while scaling damage appropriately. FFXIV needs a similar system to make old content more enjoyable.
