Uldah Grand Company Quest - Burning Man

Upon entering the instanced area at the Ferry Docks after killing the four Maelstrom soldiers, I am unable to see the NPC, Thancred and cannot talk to him in order to update the journal entry for this quest. Urianger is visible and I can interact with him. Just Thancred is missing from this instanced area.

Does anyone have any input on ways to remedy this?

Hi, I can't even start Burning Man. It is there when I talk to Aubrey, but nothing happens, after some advice to visit another companies (already did) the journal is not updated. All companies quest are stucked for me
