Cannot progress MSQ

This isn't a technical support question as such, but I am currently about to enter Heavensward content, but I am stuck on the quest 'A Time to Every Purpose', having to do the 3 crystal tower raids to progress.

So far, I have spent a collective 9 hours in queue for the first raid, Labryinth of the Ancients, spending nearly 90 minutes in queue each time before giving up and logging out. I want to progress in the game but this is just ridiculous, given no parties are forming to do the raid.

Are there work arounds of any kind to fix this problem, or am I at a road block?

Well firstly you appear to be on the Oceania servers which unfortunately are not very populated; and there is little you can do about this outside of transferring. If you have access to it (so not on Free Trial), recruit through the Party Finder, stating you need to clear it for the MSQ. If you do not mind doing it unsync but maybe you want to still watch cutscenes, be sure to mention that when you recruit; as you will not need to find 24 members just a couple of max level helpers should be fine in getting you the completion. Although if you are on the Free Trial and cannot access Party Finder, you could also ask for help in the Novice Network.

yeah it is kinda like that on Hali too we often have to move to places like NA aether or crystal xD

I pretty much stopped playing on OCE due to this, but from what I remember people tend to create a PF for alliance raids in Materia. Using duty finder for alliance raids or even some 8-people content is usually not too succesful. If you mention this is for MSQ people should join, even more if you are fine with doing it unsynced.
If you are on the Free Trial and cannot create a party you can try shouting in a main city state and there is a high chance someone will make the group for you.

I'm not sure what times you usually queue/play but that does also have an effect if you're not doing so during peak hours. When I was on OCE, if I queued for anything later than 6pm SAST I could forget about it even popping. That said, many people on OCE do have to resort to just making party finders for daily roulettes etc. so that is probably your best bet.
