The main problem of final are the players, how many people complain "there is nothing to do" and what do you think how many of them do actually all the content in the game?

At what point does this stop being a 'player problem' and start being a 'the devs need to do smth different if the community doesn't want to play a lot of the stuff they put out' problem? Bc I think we've long since made it to the latter.
not possible in a game like final with the community, or better said in a MMORPG
What do you expect that the Dev do? They bring the same amount Content even if its the same Formula then other MMOs do, why are people not happy here but in other games they are?
People refuses to raid, people refuses to do extreme trials, people refuses to even do DUNGEONS at this point because the dungeons are too "hard"
We get 24 Raids (Normal + Savage)
3 Alliance Raids
I think around 9-10 Dungeons
We got this Expansion a Chaos Raid, a new Exploration Zone and a Raid for it
We got Cosmic Exploration
We get a Deep Dungeon
We get Variant Dungeons again
We have our 3 Beasttribes
so far on, we got more as enough Content the Issue is PLAYERBASED because if i would refuse to do half of the Content of course i would be bored but People need to understand Gear Progression and Endgame is always based on RAIDS and CHALLENGES, there is not one MMO out there without Raids oh wait, there is Runescape but yea then maybe just go play Runescape?
And even if its the same Formula all the time why complain about it if you dont even do the Content ?

Ok but like. Clearly there is some sort of issue if people don't even wanna touch the content. Let alone the fact the game is down smth like 40% of subs (that number miht be wrong but the game is absolutely seeing less players than usual)not possible in a game like final with the community, or better said in a MMORPG

You can say there's tons to do. I didn't say there wasn't. I said for some reason people aren't liking it, and it isn't our job to bend over backwards and enjoy the stuff served to us regardless of the quality; i pay a sub. If I don't like it, I'm not gonna play it, and enough people have expressed that, that the game is actually facing some financial difficulties + yoshi is talking about making content that more people can actually engage with.
The idea that 'more content' means more stuff to do isn't true when noone wants to do that stuff. What I expect from the devs is to not make stuff like the absolute disaster that is FT, make content that is actually fun and not just regurgitated grind bait like CE, and not make us sit on terrible job design for years, making the rest of the content suck bc Jobs are half the game, so if they suck everything else is dragged down with em.

I get it, I truly do. But honestly, I think the bigger issue lies with the players. No matter what the devs release or change, some people will be upset, and some won’t — it’s always going to be like that.Ok but like. Yes, some things aren’t perfectly thought out or ideal for certain players, but changing them could just make others unhappy — like healing becoming way harder or less effective. And I’m not saying they shouldn’t change things! If they want to, by all means. But it does circle back to one side of the coin being happy, and the other side upset.
You’re right though, if you don’t like it, don’t play it.
The fact is, FFXIV can’t bend to every whim, no matter how much we might wish it could. And maybe that’s okay — maybe it’s just run its course for certain people, and that’s fine.
Through twilight, we endure.
I will probably now get hated because about what i want to say but i dont careOk but like. Clearly there is some sort of issue if people don't even wanna touch the content. People dont wanna touch that content not because the content is bad, its because the people are bad, ffxiv created with the ToS and the anti toxic behaviour in the past a bubble where every trash player founds his home, now we have people which cant even press 2 buttons back to back and standing there doing as dps like 10k dps while getting carried through the content and exactly these people are a majority force now which complain about everything
I say it again, the content is not bad, the people are bad, they dont wanna do any content which isnt possible to do with 2 buttons every 5s and that is the main problem of the game, the game was way to good with them in the past

That's still a player prooblem. You're playing in a sandbox with 20 different toys. If you only like 1 of the 20 and you're getting bored with it, then start applying critical thinking skills.

It's a player problem as much as people want to deflect it to being JUST a dev problem.
Hardcore or elitist players complain that “no one touches the content,” while casual or average players avoid it because dealing with toxic reactions or constant judgment ruins their fun. The result is that content doesn’t get engagement, and everyone blames the other side. It’s not just about the content being bad — it’s about player behavior and expectations.
Through twilight, we endure.

What do you suggest should happen, then? We change nothing? We wait for the playerbase to have a change of heart and suddenly want to engage? Do we scream at them until they like the content?
