    Please reduce bosses visual clutter in San d'Oria: The Second Walk alliance raid.

    San d'Oria: The Second Walk is by far the worst alliance raid in the game due to bosses mechanics having so much visual clutter that makes seeing them really hard and really needs to be reduced to make seeing boss mechanics lot easier.


    !!!NOTE!!!: Please don't start saying "go to the eye doctor" because my eyes are fine and i don't have any problem seeing other boss mechanics and bosses in San d'Oria: The Second Walk alliance raid are only bosses that i have hard time seeing their mechanics due to high amount of visual clutter they have.

    I'll be honest. I've been playing MMOs and video games for over a decade before starting FFXIV, and so far, this is the only game that has caused me to question my eyes' health, ultimately leading me to wear glasses afterwards.

    No, I agree. The raids are becoming more and more visually cluttered and confusing. I have zero idea what is happening 99% of the time, so just follow someone or stay dead.

    I personally didn't notice anything about San d'Oria being particularly more cluttered than anything else this expansion, but I've been getting nauseous from playing since Dawntrail launch and it's still the only game I play that has ever given me issues...

    I support this.

    Either reduce or simplify the visual clutter and telegraphs; or, reduce the number of mechanics altogether, thereby reducing the number and types of needed telegraphs, and make the mechanics you leave hit a little harder to compensate for the cut mechanics.

    I did have someone in my Alliance say that the second boss (I think? The elemental lines that do different things?) was hard for them because they’re colorblind.

    I didn’t really have many issues with this AR, but I do notice certain things tend to give me literal headaches that sometimes lead to full-on migraines; I just can’t always pinpoint exactly what is causing it. For Sphene I know that glitchy pixelation effect that’s used quite a few places throughout the expansion tends to do it quite reliably, but Zelenia seems to bother me even after their adjustments and I can’t quite figure out exactly why.

    I didn't notice much visual clutter, personally. I was able to figure out the mechanics. They were more intuitive than the CEs in OC even.

    The "visual clutter" as you call it is how you identify the mechanics.

    When I was streaming the raid, I definitely had a couple people mention how it was hard for them to follow some of the action or that the constant barrage of large telegraphs paired with my Reaper's full effects made it a little too chaotic sometimes. I also feel like this game is basically unplayable nowadays if you had full effects on for party members, which makes me wonder if the devs just assume no one has that option toggled on anymore? Kind of poor design to not make combat functional with an established option like that selected.
