Comparison Gamescom 2009 and 2012

A thread where i just wanted to compare the alpha versions of each games..
Because everyone is complaining right now about the "very important" stuff, like grass and "walking backwards" (woot*)

When we compare back then, how static the game experience in FF14 1.0. was, how horrible the mouse movement was, how slow the combat was, how empty and non Final Fantasy'ish the atmosphere was. there was not much to do than doing leves.

While I'm not saying the grass complains are good, you are making a pretty bad comparison here. Everyone knows how bad the original release was, that doesn't mean that people would just ignore everything they might not like about the current version. That's now how it works.

yea but its fun to see how they start complain about the very tiny things now.
and sometimes i have the impression that they dont see the difference from then and now.
