Request for More Character Customization Options

Add your hair choice to glam plates, there are a lot of hair options I don't touch because they clip most of my glams so it'd be nice to have an easy way to be selective about which glams use what. Atm I'm just using a short hair option and pretending like all the hair options in this game don't exist >.>

Flat chest options for fem models, so much, omg! For that matter, non-flat chest options for masc models. Pronoun selection. Fangs for all! I'd love being able to have horns + wings always, and for horns to not be a hat slot so hats can still be worn with them. Multiple makeup options would be amazing. Piercings + tattoos! Eye glow for all would be super cool too! I really love your suggestions, OP.

Not quite character customization, but relatedly: removing gendered clothing and making it just two different clothing models that can be toggled. And I'd love to remove the race restrictions too, some of the shirts/starter gear is so amazing and it's sad if your character can't wear it.

One I'd like to see is having rounded ears on Elezen. Or pointed ears on Hyurs, like Hilda. I tried to get my ears as rounded as possible on my main and it's just kind of awkward...

Yeah as someone who got into this game way later down the line, the forums do feel like a void for suggestions.

There was once a point where Yoshida and others would post here(both the JP section and the other languages through translators), but once they got successful they stopped caring.

Honesly, giving more body options for au ras would be so nice

Why auri faces and horns locked together?
Why there's no scale color variety outside of dark blue and white?
No scale pattern variety either?

There's so much lost potential to add flavor to already existing races if devs just think a bit

I think that if Square Enix is no longer looking at adding more races to the game, that making improvements to the races that we already have is a big next step that they need to take.

We all remember being told that overhauling the graphics because of spaghetti code was impossible, and yet they've still been trying to make it work. Once the wrinkles are smoothed out with the graphics, I can theoretically see them overhauling the CC as the next thing to update.

For 8.0 I think this is a trade off many of the players would happily accept.

I don’t really have high expectations from SE, but they could at least give us an option to pick a body type,
maybe a few preset choices, like default, slim, muscular, and androgynous.
Why can’t my Elezen be a bit more muscular, or some Roegadyn a bit less 'fat'?
This would also improve how male Hyurs’ body shapes look. I think that’s the bare minimum they could handle.

With mare down i would love to see them rectify their mistake of not giving viera tails. I almost never see fanart of viera wols where they clearly do not have a tail. Just make it an option for the people who dont want it.

Uncoupling au ra horns from faces would be a huge improvement and weve been asking for this for years.

Im expecting an expansion to hair color options bc of solution 9 hair colors. Could make a fun cutscene about giving the barber an expanded set of tools for more hair color and "face paint" options (in quotes because i really want scar options. No way our level 100 wols have no scars on their bodies after everything... But really i want body scars more then face scars)

Body type options would also be super nice. I cannot pretend i expect them to be capable of giving us sliders in the right places, but at least giving builds such as "sturdy" (heavy), "athletic" (somewhere in the middle), and "lean" (the skinny bitches). If theyre afraid of offending people with terminology they can say body types a b and c but it should not be hard to find words that work.
