Incentivize doing non job-quests and MSQ content!

This might be a controversial feature, but I like the idea that glam and dyes are learned via a quest in the world. It makes it feel natural and that our character learned that through exploring the world (since it's also not in the main city)

I think it'd be neat if they incentivize exploration and discover by hiding stuff behind non-obvious means. For example adding Odin as a summon from beating the trial as a summoner, or a certain side-quest can unlock a new ability for WAR. Doing FATE <X> can unlock a new ability for SAM, and so on.

This idea doesn't have to be restricted to job abilities, it can really be anything.

The biggest scare for players is that it can result in some players not having their entire kit, and that's fine (and there's already cases of players without their jobstone doing 40+ dungeons)

Game needs more immersive ways for people to unlock features and interact with the world.

Probably the main issue with that in other games has always been that you will get casual players who go through the game and then if they lack even 1 important ability or buff, they put themselves at risk of being ridiculed for not having all these things they didn't even know existed, nor know how to get. We even had it just with the cross-class system.

What they could do instead is drop:
    - Gameplay altering materia, that significantly adjust GCD speed or add additional effects to many abilities, or bring back things that people liked such as Darkside or BLM timers, without necessarily altering damage output.
    - Animation glamour, so that everyone player can appear to have a unique fighting style.
    - Summon or faerie glamours as you said.
