I feel like most of the titles listed in the OP would be even more niche and less popular than Monster Hunter.

I like those games, and the nostalgia might be nice, but it makes more sense to have a collaboration with something current and popular.

Welp, another dumb Monster Hunter collab. Yoshi P is friends with the Monster Hunter team so we get another bland and boring collab with a game nobody cares about. Lazy.

I'd be cool with any of those you listed, but they wouldn't be as special, because they're Square Enix properties. So it wouldn't be a special partnership or collaboration. They'd just be reaching into their own bag.

I'd be interested in seeing collaborations for:

- Persona
- Yakuza / Like A Dragon
- Ys / Kiseki / Falcom

If they want to do something with Capcom so bad, maybe Mega Man or use Haukke Manor for a Resident Evil collab.

All that said, I don't take issue with the MonHun collab.

I liked the monster hunter cross over, and it is something I have done several times for alts also, so I do want to say I am glad they doing this one. I did not care for Neir, and while I like(d) ffxi, have not participated in the raids representing XI here either.

I just feel like the gameplay in general is so bleh and needs work that I cannot be too excited for a cross over. But, about the original monster hunter cross over, I did like that it had off-beat mechanics involved, even if it nullified healers.

With all that said, I am actually a little stoked to see what gets thrown in the mix for this collab.

That and more Palico is good. I know some one who may die because of it.

Or maybe a collab with Shantae, the half genie girl would be also a good one since she is quite popular too. Fuga, melodies of steel series could also be a good collab.
