    How do you hope 7.45 phantom job acquisition and 7.55 OC gear is handled

    Now I know that reception to OC has been lukewarm at best but this is more discussing progressing in the future

    Mostly how right now the only “under-utilised” material in OC seems to be sanguinite as it’s the only one you can’t buy job crystals with. But it’s also a material locked behind forked tower. Do you reckon they will add new materials or new CE’s for the new 7.45 phantom jobs or cheap out and make them buyable with an existing material like sanguinite and annoy everyone

    Similarly with north horn gear south horn gear is entirely vertical but the last upgrade needs ALOT of sanguinite. How do you think they will handle this going forward? Just ignore +2? Use jewellery? Go harder on mastery stacks?

    I really wonder how they will handle the sangunitite problem going forward

    As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.

    I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

    It's possible they won't even have the gear related. We'll probably start over again with the second zone so they'll leave things as they are now most likely.

    Probably silver and gold coins to buy the new jobs? Not that I hope they do this or not, but I wouldn't be surprised for them to just do that because that's how the rest has been done so far.

    I'll start with what I expect:
    Armor and accessories: North Horn will introduce new armor that will be useful ilvl for some, and glam for everyone else. It will be purchasable via platinum and mythril coins. It will not have the Special Attribute. At best, there might be a new accessory that's a rare drop from a CE.

    Phantom Jobs: Platinum, mythril, and drops from CEs.

    Currency and materials acquired in one zone (South or North Horn) will not be useful in the other zone.

    Forked Tower: Magic(?) will drop something that can be used to imbue the otherwise final stage of the relic weapon with the Special Attribute.
    (Yes, that is a combination of familiar elements from Eureka and Bozja/Zadnor… )

    As for what I hope for:
    A return to the weakly social/collective element of Eureka, where there was some intentionality and loose organization around spawning NMs CEs.

    Phantom Freelancer becomes useful in combat (FT:M).

    I'm not a terribly creative person when it comes to designing systems, and I suspect SE is spending their creative energies on the setting, Phantom Jobs (the actions), and FT:M. I also have trouble imagining that SE would want to dump any more power into a gear set, especially with N more rays mastery stacks coming.

    Unless… the new thing is to start imbuing gear with defensive boosts. And if you do it in such a way that it can be applied to both the Arcanault's +1 and +2 gear, and without losing them when upgrading a piece from +1 to +2, then you don't have to worry about Sanguinite/X-Fixatives and potentially cannibalizing the main reason to run FT:B repeatedly.

    To be fair the current gear set is only 14.5% damage, the mastery stacks are the majority of the current power

    But imbuing defence would be good, because as soon as you remove incentives go get +2 then the last incentive to run FTB collapses which I believe they would want to avoid
