Error 90002, 90007 and 20002 within Materia

Hi, I am writing this on behalf of a friend who cannot access the forums due to being on console.

She and five others across consoles and PCs are experiencing frequent crashes only within the Materia servers, with the error codes listed in the titles. The last one, which crashed three at the same time happened at 7:12PM AEST. Others from other data centers have experienced the same crashes, only within Materia. They all live in different states and across different internet companies.

Most of the time it is an 90002 error, but if it is a 20002 error it seems to get stuck on the error and she has to switch to her Japanese server character and interact with it before attempting to log back into Materia.

She has tried changing her ISP, verifying game files, reinstalling the game, she has contacted her internet company and had new primary and secondary DNS created, which crashed as well.

She had this issue a couple of months ago and followed all the instructions and nothing worked. Her internet company was able to to solve the issue with the same fix as last time, but that is no longer working as a bandaid solution.

Other who have had this issue on PC have turned on a VPN as a solution, but for my friends on console that isn't an option.

From everything we've tried, we believe this is an issue on FFXIV's side, and with the game being basically unplayable with the constant crashes, I think it is important to address. I've seen a couple other posts in this forum with the same issue, so this not an isolated case.

I have been experiencing these issues also.

- I play on: PC.
- Wired.
- Happens once an hour.
- One character.
- During duties and even in open world.
- ISP: Tangerine.

Its also been happening to me, not sure if it will fix with upcoming maintenance - but here are my details. I have not noticed disconnections in other games that I have been playing or problems with my internet otherwise.

Please provide:
- Platform: PS5
- Wired or WIFI connection? Wired
- When the disconnect occurs/How often? Sporadically - sometimes every hour, sometimes every 20 minutes. I kept track for a couple of days with how much it was happening, and the longest I managed to stay without D/C was an hour.
- Does the disconnection happen to one character or multiple characters? So far I have only tried one character.
- Where in game do you get disconnected? At any point. It has been while I'm AFK for a few mins, during duties, and while interacting with things like loading new areas, talking with retainers, interacting with objects etc.
- What ISP Is being used? Dodo

Throwing in my hat on this as well, as I've also been experiencing these issues.

Platform: PC (Steam)
Wired/WiFi: Wired
Frequency: Most frequent I've had is every 10 mins, least frequent is every 2 hours. There is no consistency in the issue frequency as far as I can tell.
Character: I only have the one
Disconnect Location: Everywhere. I've had it happen in duties of all kinds, in pvp, in the overworld, in cosmic exploration, in occult crescent etc.
ISP: Dodo

Additionally, if a vpn is being used, it stops a full disconnect, but when the issues would occur it instead results in other connection issues (other characters stop moving, GCD stops rolling properly etc. - just today I had a Verraise cast continue to completion even whilst moving around which was bizarre to see).

Seconding; on Dodo as well and I'm also getting the occasional disconnects if I'm not on VPN.

It's worth mentioning that this problem does not occur at all on all of the NA, EU and JP DCs so I genuinely think the problem is on FFXIV side

I've also been having this trouble for a while now to the point where I can barely bother to play on Materia.

Platform: PC
Wired/WiFi: Wired
Frequency: Anywhere between 2 mins and an hour.
Character: Multiple characters but only on Materia. NA and EU work fine.
Disconnect Location: Everywhere
ISP: Dodo
