The new chat bubbles feature has been a welcome addition to the game, even if there is room for improvement. There is already a thread about allowing entire messages to display in a bubble, but I wanted to bring up a separate request here: it would be helpful if we could enable custom emotes using /em to appear as chat bubbles.

In the roleplaying scene, it's common for any "post" that begins with a narrated action to use /em instead of /say, even if the post contains dialogue after the action. While chat bubbles have been a huge boon for RP, making it immediately obvious when a character is talking (rather than needing to keep one eye on the chat log at all times), the lack of emote chat bubbles means that not everything a character says will show up outside of the chat log. The result is that, even with bubbles enabled, you need to keep staring at the chat log anyway just in case someone's next post comes as an emote, which somewhat defeats the purpose of having chat bubbles in the first place.

All that said, the new feature has been a net positive, so thank you for implementing it! I hope you will continue to add to it in future updates.
