FFXIV and Gathering player feedback

Is it time the Devs look at how they gain feedback?

From what i see they get it from:

• Live Stream Comments
• Official Forum
• Reddit
• Content creators

But the problem with this is that it is often skewed by the medium and non serious memes (which i do enjoy greatly)

I wonder why they havent gone with targetted version surveys, they could bang some tomes and gill onto them for a reward for completing. But it would allow them to reach players who actually play, target key things like job design and if they linked it your in game account, they would be able to aggregate the source to see if it came from people who for example played the job.

I just think there would be more quality responses from this. I dont propose they remove the feedback from other sources. Just think this would help them stay in touch with the player base and ensure its from a broad range of players. (Given that reviews and 90% of the post on here tend to be negative)
