Everything is outstanding except the terrible animation the dragon has when getting hit. The enemies do that in our current version; they just bounce around with no weight or physics to them, very uncharacteristic of a boss with such mass to bounce around like a rag-doll.

Much better video!I love all the graphical improvements and the lighting / shadows are really stunning. Everything is lit very well and gives off the feeling of a much more compelling and moving world. Something that's more alive and interesting than the current Black Shroud we have now.
One thing I hope we have an option for in 2.0 is "Camera Turning Smoothness / Responsiveness." While it's great that the camera was super responsive (insta-turning), I prefer my camera to have a smoother, 3rd Person Action Camera, instead of the 1st Person/FPS-style insta-flip / super-fast swivel motions that we saw them do in this video, which can make me dizzy after a while. I just hope for Options.
But otherwise, I can't wait for 2.0 and the Beta!What a beautiful Eorzea 2.0!

Its minor but i love it.
I love the new Graphic and Atmosphere, it does look much more alive and much more smooth.
And you dont miss much, the guy is just babbling about the stuff that happens on the screen, no information or anything like that.
You can hear the faint sound of piano when the player-character in the presentation explores the forest!
I can't wait to hear what the new Black Shroud theme sounds like.
Yeah I heard it too! for like a Brief 3 secs ( may have to go and try to hear it again!) but The Shroud def has a new theme!!I hope they Release some tracks of 2.0 too as a "Teaser!)

One of the things I liked about FFXI -- players and enemies had a feeling to them when they got hit, for example if you get hit by a powerful enemy (Wyrms for example) it jerks your body like you were being thrown off balance, but if you got hit by a weak enemy, it didn't really move you -- it could just be pre-alpha lacking certain elements since 1.0's alpha you had no weight to you when you turned.Everything is outstanding except the terrible animation the dragon has when getting hit.
