More Universal *Knight* Armor transmogs

They've basically already done that with the Cryptlurker gear back in ShB.

Obviously they haven't directly taken armor from any Souls game, but you can clearly see the influence.

We kind of already got that unofficially with the Cryptlurker sets. Though to your point only Tanks can wear the classic plate armour. The maiming set is kind of there too, but the fending set is just straight up the most "dark souls" armour this game has. Yoshi-P even made a joke about it during the reveal.

If they would just lift the job restrictions on armour it would solve this whole problem.

The problem with it is that it’s not universal gear. It’s set only for one way of play style and not all classes. In Dark Souls, you can use anything and be a knight class. There’s countless knights throughout Dark Souls games that use more than just swords/axes/spears but also magic too.

To have a Dark Souls themed knight armor that’s universal to all classes would be awesome and show that off. And there’s countless people that have commented on this post prior that are in hard agreement.

First before I begin, I want to say I love Final Fantasy as a whole (as well as FFXIV) and I love you guys Square Enix. You guys always put so much effort into trying to give us awesome games and all us fans deeply appreciate it!

Now, I would like to request and petition for more universal real KNIGHT armor sets. My personal character, Sir Jeddax, is a character that I based to be a knight in every game I play, especially Final Fantasy 14. I’ve mained the classes Paladin, and Dark Knight for a long time and tried the new class Viper, to which I love very much deeply. However, the one real problem I’m having with it is the sense of transmog aesthetic. There is the Ward’s Knight armor set, which is alright, but the problem is that it doesn’t have a helmet in the set. And the kicker is that there really aren’t many helmets, that are knightly, that work with Viper.

So essentially Square Enix, I am humbly asking that, when you’d have the time, if you could make some more universal knight armor sets or transmogs. It’d definitely be cool to maybe see some Dark Souls themed knight sets too maybe. But anyway, thank you for your time and consideration, and even more, thank you for making an awesome game for us fans!

Day: 10 of petitioning for more universal Knight Armor sets for all classes, whether as purchases mogstation sets or in game. A lot of us love knight armor sets and we know you make very great armor sets in general, Square Enix! We’d love it dearly if you gave us more for all the knight fans, including I, that love playing your game Final Fantasy 14! But also, again thank you for giving us a great game too!
