    fine placement mode? what happened to it?

    i believe i used to hold L1 on ps5 to enter fine placement mode which let adjust the position of furniture
    inch by inch if i wanted and turn things slightly or alot either. can't find this anywhere or any mention of it on websites except the ai generated answers. is it gone did they take it out. it was a great feature. any info on this would be appreciated.

    really none it was a great feature it. on console when you selected a piece of furniture you hold L1 and you could move the item in selected increments like 1 inch or 3 feet. pretty sure you could sink things into the floor and maybe even float things without glitching think on pc you pushed asterisk on the num pad to access it.

    I think you might be talking about the Grid Snap feature. It's still there.

    When it's "on" it moves furniture placement by cardinals and ordinals when rotating and snaps along invisible horizontal and vertical grids on the floor when moving side to side.

    When it is "off" you get the fine placement you are talking about.

    Try searching for "grid snap on controller" instead - I'm on an Xbox controller so I can't help with the PS5, but perhaps someone else out there can.
