Why bog down the system with shitty tools built in their equally shitty engine when you have an entire service gathering and organizing that data for you, for free? If they actually didn't like it, SE would have sent a cease and desist a long time ago, but they haven't, same with the mod stuff, the same mod stuff that when sufficiently popular gets added as a native feature in the game. Interesting...
I don't know why I find this to be extremely funny..hahah.

Granted that their Devs do seem to be lacking quite a bit (you can see how they solved the stalker plugin), it doesn't mean they are that bad. I can guarantee you they have an even more advanced tool than FFlogs to design and balance the fight. If you played long enough, especially engaged with hard content, you will understand that often fights are engineered down to each class GCD/oGCD.

Now time to take down that tin foil hat of yours.

Glare is a filler spell that requires the conscious choice by a player to press. Which means that someone has looked at what is happening in the fight, weighted their available options and decided the filler spell was the most optimal choice at the time.
Having that many conscious Glare presses in a fight means there was nothing better to do for a majority of the time.

Could you argue that auto attacks have too much weight on your DPS output for something that just happens in it's own and requires 0 player input? Absolutely.
But that is not the same as the filler DPS spell being the most actively used ability on a healer for any given fight.
Let me humor you for a bit and explain to you my joke. My pick of the class was absolutely not random. I specifically picked Monk because they are one of the classes that heavily rely on their auto attacks to keep their damage high via Riddle of the Wind. It's built into their class design, and it was a sarcastic comment to the original OP.

Now, at the end of the day, it matters very little if you press glare or if you have a full damage rotation. The discourse of saying I pressed X times glare while disregarding everything else, is reductive, just for the sake of being disingenuous and whiny and nothing more.
