Naadam Quest / Can't manage the very last step

Hello All

My MSQ progression is stuck at that solo duty (I do hate solo duty). The duty goes trouble free up to the last step of the last fight, when I have to deal with Magnai, Sadu, the 2 stellars and the different mobs trying to claim the ovoo, all at same time.

I have 3 main problems:
- Positioning: It's very difficult for me to handle Magai, Sadu, the stellars and the foes claiming the ovoo, because they are dispatched all around me.
- Based on different guides, if I shoot once at foes trying to claim the ovoo, it's sufficient to stop them. It's true and it works well, but the counter part is that they then turn to me, adding to all those already fighting me. It's overwhelming.
- I have difficulties to swap target between foes, what makes me lose precious time.

Therefore my questions:
- Is there a trick/method to swap target rapidly during fight?
- Can I take the risk to stand away from the ovoo? It would help me keeping all foes ahead of me, but I'm afraid it would also makes it easier for foes to claim it.
- Is there a priority between Sadu, her 2 stellars and Magai? When Sadu arrives, should I kill her and the stellars first or should I keep priority on killing Magai first?

The NPCs claiming the oovoo do it at a scripted time, so you can stand anywhere in the arena and it won't cause them to run to the oovoo until you have reached the appropriate HP mark on Magnai to trigger the NPC trying to claim the oovoo.


I recommend killing only the NPCs that have aggro on you, if an NPC is fighting another NPC or an ally, leave them be unless they're trying to claim the oovoo. Once you're alone with Magnai, focus on him (you can't take the oovoo until you defeat him). Once Sadu shows up, focus on Sadu as she is a bit more squishy as a mage, and her attacks are much more annoying. Once Sadu is out of the picture, go back to your priority system:


1. If anyone is taking the oovoo, hit them once with a range attack to stop them, then kill them when you can. The less enemies focusing on you, the more HP you will have to tank Magnai's attacks.
2. Get rid of any other enemies aggro'ed on you, if you have 3 or more, you can use aoes. If they're only 2, focus on one at a time to deal more damage. Be careful not to accidentally hit enemies that are not aggro'ed on you!
3. If Sadu is present, kill her to prevent her from cluttering the arena with her aoes. Kill the stellars first as she draws power from them, then Sadu herself.
4. Once you're all alone with Magnai, teach him who's boss!


I sadly can't help you with the targeting if you're on console, but on PC you can select specific enemies from your aggro list (it's a black list that has little red, orange, yellow icons next to the name of the enemy, you will find it somewhere in your HUD. You can go hit a training dummy to locate it more easily, and then place it somewhere in your screen near where your cursor usually hangs out) and that should make it a bit easier to pin-point who you're attacking without mashing TAB like crazy. If someone is not on your enemy list but they're attacking you, do an aoe or heal yourself to update the enemy list.

I followed your recommendation and was finally able to manage the fight. I had the feeling that it was never ending!

There was again one more step after that, but it was a piece of cake in comparison.

I'm glad it's behind me. I'm not a very good player and those solo duties are a nightmare to me.

Let's hope the next one is not too close...
