Better Gear Coloring, is it confirmed?

As the website has been updated, most the DoW and DoM in the photos have gear that is colored in a way that's not presently possible or is completely new/unreleased from 1.0. Would it be possible, or rather is it going to be possible to better color the gear, probably excluding Job specific gear or Unique/Untradable gear?

It's unfortunate when everyone has the same thing on and everyone looks like the same jumbled mess of miss matched/miss colored gear.

I know Yoshi touched on this back in Fall of last year, but I can't find anything recent about it. Anyone know if this Any color, any gear thing is still happening?

Curious if anyone can point me to a new interview or link that says it would be great!

? Everything in the game on the new screenshots looks heavily DEsaturated, as if we're returning to the glory days of everything being a different shade of brown.

Even the UI looks kind of desaturated.

Yep! It just has different textures.

Everyone should already know they are changing the dyeing system. I believe the goal was 30+ colors for each piece of crafted gear. It's currently not do-able cause of the way the current game handles item data.

^This. That's just a variant of the harness, has always looked that way on female characters. Not a ton better on guys lol.

Still not peachy with it looking like a flippin chainmail bikini on girls. If anything I'm a little more dissapointed.
But it's a small thing overall, so not too bad.

Those crazy bright colors on the armor are a little silly looking though. Hope they have an option to keep the subtle colors in.
