half the forum saw these pages live on the site and not through pics so anyone saying they are shopped are out of their minds. Also 5+ threads on it have been deleted (im sure this one will be too).

I find it funny that rather than just own up to it, they delete threads and try to hide it, regardless of every other ff fan site posting news of it. Great communication and marketing tactics there.

Its called avoiding a headache. Cuz now they are in a position where they can't delay those jobs nor change their mind. The benefit of keeping it secret is that if there are kinks you can just sweep it under the rug and release later. But now everyone is anticipating it so it has to be amazing.

The directors of this game would like to apologise for the recent patch. Those responsible for patching the work of the those who were supposed to patch it properly, have just had their work patched.

The leaked jobs have thus been redesigned at the last minute and at incredible expense.

Well, its pretty much a given, there is a "coming soon" slot in the Job Section and under Disciples of Magic. You can say they are shopped all you want but if you bothered reading the descriptions, you'd believe them to be real.

Since we're getting Arcanist, Musketeer can't be too far behind. They're the two "missing" classes after all. Been in game since the start.

And once I get Musketeer, I'm never going to use a different battleclass

I am guessing that Musketeer would be next seeing as how they made Archer into a Bard. They would need a ranged DPS class/job to balance the selection of party roles.

I've heard it suggested that Musketeer would be like the ranged Monk. High damage against a single target kind of thing.

Yeah, I don't really see it being an AOE ranged. I can understand Archer being able to do that, (ex. barrage) as it isn't unique to FF that an archer fire more than one arrow at once.

Also, this reminds me... of my entire FFXIV experience, I have never visited the musketeers guild. I may have a few times for quests, but I have very vague memories. :P

Anyways, I would also love to see a ranged AOE attacker, much mike Warrior but probably a lot less defense. Cannoneer comes to mind when I think of it, but that could just as well become the Job version of Musketeer, and very pirate-like. Cannoneer is from FF Tactics Advance 2 and its a AOE Ranged Enfeebler/Debuffer Job. Whilst in FFXI, Corsair was more like a Bard/Gambler. I'd like to see some different varieties instead of ports from FFXI. Corsair was fun but I would place my vote on an official Enfeebler/Debuffer class.
