Already strongly hinted at from leaked page that Ifrit, Garuda and Titan could be summonable by Summoner (or their essence / lesser versions).I don't really think Summoner will get the big primals. They made them quite powerful and really larger than life in FF14 compared to FF11. If anything I believe Ifrit, Titan, Garuda, Shiva, Ramuh, Leviathan and Odin will be, as they have stated before, summon-able by the Free Companies and only one of them will exist.

well maybe you go hunt the primal and you need a SMN in the party to "capture it" and then any SMN in the company can summon the primal via limitbreak
No.
Yoshida doesnt want them "cheapened" by having everybody be able to summon them, understandably. They might be hinting that summoners are the ones who can summon the primals for free companies though.
_____edit
Leon beat me too it
Oh you know what Yoshida wants or doesn't, lucky you.
Why couldn't they be "mini" versions of them, their essence materialized in the form of pets by the Summoner ? We don't know much at this point, and I corrected my own post about "confirmation".
Lucky me?
Lucky everybody who read the interview.. lol
How come I get to be the lucky one.
Cheapen was his words, why don't you do your homework before replying to people.
It doesn't say WE as summoner's can.
"The beast tribes of Eorzea worship and summon forth beings known as primals, among which are Ifrit, Garuda, and Titan."
Says the beast tribes can. If we can summon them then it wont be to the same effect as it was in FF11 I imagine. Maybe only Summoners can summon the one time only primals FOR the Free Companies.
