Putting it on the main website in any form seems pretty solidified to me. I mean why spend all the time, effort and money designing pages for them if they're not 100% sure what they're doing yet?

we are all speculation.. if the dont end up doing arcanist/summoner.. and do like mechanist/puppetmaster i would be like woohooo anyways. no reason to shut us down if we dont break any rules. yeah they /panic but that was not the right way to handle it

Agreed. I would be really disappoined in Arcanist -> Summoner mainly cuz I made such a strong speculation towards other options (I mean really yoshi GLA -> DRK make NO SENSE!) Although arcanist is free to be what ever they make it, I'd feel it would be a better decision to make a general pet class that handles taming as well as summoning. Arcanist just feels more like a mage/buffer/cc. All is not set in stone though so I guess its okay.
