More letters too expensive?

Really though as others have said this is easily one of the most requested features they’ve had over the years, so it’s pretty disappointing to see them throw out an ‘unfinished version’ to appease players instead of actually putting in the time/effort for it to be fully realized for release. Is that too much to expect of them? Idk
